The original Master Index to Summaries of Children’s Books was published by The Scarecrow Press (again in two volumes) in 1985 (1,036 pp., ISBN 0 8108 1795 0). It covered summaries of books for children from pre‐school to grade six, and referenced sources published between 1974 and 1980. Now “More” has appeared for source books between 1980 and 1990.
