The Fitzroy Dearborn Calendar of World History

Based on Steinberg’s Historical Tables, revised and expanded by Paxton for the 12th edition, published in 1990, this new format Calendar changes tack slightly to emerge as a chronology with a far more global perspective than the earlier title which was consciously tilted towards events in Europe, the British Commonwealth, and the USA. Here, events in Africa, Asia, and Latin America are more prominent than in any previous English‐language chronology.
