Map machine

This is a great Web site. It is not only fun and colourful but it will be very useful on the reference desk of public and school libraries. The centrepiece for most users will be the atlas. This covers all countries of the world, searchable either directly by country or indirectly through continents. For each country one will find a map, a flag, and text on history and economics from the National Geographic Atlas of the World (rev. 6th ed., 1995). Maps are small, of course, but usable, and most maps in this site can be viewed at screen size...
