Legacies from Ancient Egypt and Legacies from Ancient Rome

Having welcomed the first two volumes in this series (RR, 99/447) I am now pleased to see it developing its value with the two latest volumes. They have a double value in first of all introducing and establishing a basic knowledge of the history of Rome and Egypt, then in relating this to the later world, and to our own world with explicit examples.
