World Lutheranism: A Select Bibliography for English Readers

World Lutheranism “is designed to provide a basic bibliography of books, dissertations and pamphlets that illuminate World Lutheranism since 1580.” To the author’s knowledge no similar survey of material in the English language has previously been attempted. Dr Huber has chosen 1580 as his starting point as it was the year in which the Book of Concord, which defined Lutheranism as a Protestant confession differing from other Protestant confessions, was published. Books are included up to 1996 with a few later additions.
