This work feels like a handbook, which is appropriate for a ready reference tool. It is structured in 18 chapters dedicated to humanities and social sciences resources available on the Internet, plus a chapter apiece on reference, search engines and meta‐subject guides. Each chapter begins with an introduction and then a section on a “general” Web site, before delving into various elements of the subject at hand. The target audience consists of students in the humanities and social sciences.
