Confusion reigns over the publication of this title. The Cambridge University Press Web site (which, incidentally invites readers to use this free resource to look up words, phrasal verbs and idioms online) tells us that the title was published in September 1999 on its own at $15.95, with a CD‐ROM at $20.95 or as a student activity paperback at $6.95. It was published in UK without CD‐ROM on 25 November 1999 at a price of £11.90, but there is no reference to a UK edition with CD‐ROM, which clearly exists as it is the edition under review.
