After the two‐volume Encyclopedia of Lesbian and Gay Histories and Cultures (Garland, 2000, RR 2000/230) and Fitzroy Dearborn’s Reader’s Guide to Lesbian and Gay Studies (RR 2000/390), comes yet another North American heavyweight for the Gay shelves.
