Web‐Catalogue to the Medieval Illuminated Manuscript Collection

The collection of medieval manuscripts at Koninklijke Bibliotheek ‐ the Royal Library of The Netherlands ‐ is a magnificent resource. The library’s Web site has a significant section dedicated to medieval illumination, which in turn provides a full Web catalogue to this material. The aim of making this catalogue available is to provide access to two groups: the experts, who will find the catalogue a major resource of a very high quality, and those with little experience of manuscript catalogues or indeed with medieval art.
