World Investment Report 2001: Promoting Linkages

The World Investment Report, which has been published annually since 1991, is widely recognised as the most authoritative and comprehensive source of information on foreign direct investment. This year’s report, in addition to discussing the issues and trends that surround foreign direct investment, examines the issue of linkages between foreign affiliates of multinational corporations and local companies in developing countries.
