The goal of WordReference is to facilitate reading Web pages in a foreign language by providing a dictionary lookup service. There is a straight translation search on the WordReference page, where users enter words to be translated. Free software (WordReference Personal) is available for download and installation on an individual PC. WordReference is also available for installation on Web sites. Users of either must have Netscape 4+ or IE 4 or 5 running on Windows 95/98/NT or higher.
