Kinship and Social Organization: An Interactive Tutorial is an ambitious project that explains complex anthropological concepts using the hypertext environment. The tutorial is divided into three sections: Topics, Ethnographic Examples, and Appendices. The Topics section is the heart and bulk of the tutorial and consists of eleven smaller sections such as kin fundamentals, decent systems, marriage systems, and other basic concepts. The site also includes specific ethnographic examples from different geographic areas. The three appendices (list of figures, glossary, and FAQs) open in new windows, allowing users to toggle back and forth easily between them.
