Using French: A Guide to Contemporary Usage is part of a series of handy foreign language reference works published by Cambridge University Press. These include the highly respected Jean Duffy’s Using French Vocabulary. The guide to French usage is the third edition of a well‐established work, which was first published in 1982. Each new edition has been heavily revised to take in suggestions and criticisms regarding the previous version.
