Worldmark Yearbook 2001

“It offers the world.” True enough, but so too do other reference books and innumerable Web sites. So why might the reference librarian want to consider this comparatively new yearbook? The most obvious immediate reason is the convenience of all the information being presented in a set of three hefty volumes, that is, as a one‐stop shop. That is an important consideration, but it needs to be set against what is actually on offer, and its cost.
