This annotated bibliography focuses on secondary critical writings dealing with Shakespeare and “minorities.” In addition to a foreword by the bibliographer Bruce T. Sajdak, a preface, acknowledgements, introduction, and user’s guide, the bibliography is divided into six chapters. These deal with “Women,” “Blacks,” “Jews,” “Homosexuals,” “Slaves,” and “Others.” There is an alphabetical listing of works consulted followed by two indexes: a name index and a subject index. The book concludes with a paragraph “About the author,” who teaches at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
