World Mineral Statistics 1996‐2000

This is the 24th edition of this statistical record of the production, exports and imports of minerals, covering the period 1996 to 2000. The statistics are based on a database maintained by the British Geological Survey, working in co‐operation with a number of international and government agencies world‐wide. Under each mineral the statistics are arranged alphabetically by country under each geographic group, the groups corresponding to continents: Europe, Africa, North and Central America, South America and Australasia.
