Many librarians will be familiar with the Directory of Corporate Affiliations from their print reference collection. This directory provides a listing of over 170,000 public and private companies, both in the USA and around the world, and their relationships to other companies.
The print source provides such information as corporate linkage (subsidiary and parent relationships, etc.) down to the seventh level, address, business description, and Web site. Additional information includes company earnings, sales, ticker symbol, exchange, net income and net worth, number of employees and key personnel.
