Titles and Forms of Address: A Guide to Correct Use (21st edition)

I found that my staff shared my dislike for this title. Like me, they preferred other sources for the enquiries we received on how to address correctly letters, envelopes, and the elevated and exalted themselves. The reason, I think, is that the book is so patently “establishment”. After Royalty, come 73 pages of the Peerage, Baronetage, Knights and Dames. Then there are 30 pages for the Christian Church, 17 pages for the Armed Forces, 24 for Law, Diplomatic and Government, and eight for Universities.
