ARBAonline, the searchable electronic version of the reference standard American Reference Books Annual, affords one‐step access to the contents of all volumes since 1997, over 9,500 authoritative reviews. The database is updated monthly and, like its print counterpart, reflects the collaborative effort of several hundred experts reviewing print reference materials from 400 publishers in more than 500 subject areas as well as electronic and Internet resources. A current awareness e‐mail alert provides updates. Access is via IP authentication for an unlimited number of simultaneous users.
