Nobel Prize Winners: 1997‐2001 Supplement

This book is the third supplement to Nobel Prize Winners (1987). It contains biographical sketches of the 59 men, women and institutions that received the Nobel Prize from 1997 up to the end of 2001. These four works now contain all 729 Nobel laureates from 1901 and, as such, form an important biographical reference source for students and general readers. This supplement is arranged alphabetically by person or institution. The entries range from a couple of pages to four (e.g. David Trimble), five (e.g. V.S.
