The Blackwell Companion to Philosophy (2nd edition)

The first edition of this work was published in 1996. It was intended to provide an overview of changes in philosophy, above all in the main sub‐disciplines and special fields (like ethics, metaphysics, philosophy of law or biology), and critical updates on key periods and thinkers from ancient to modern times. The strong team of contributors (mainly North American and UK) was co‐ordinated by Bunnin (University of Oxford) and Tsui‐James (University of Hong Kong).
