Vital Signs 2002‐2003: The Trends that are Shaping our Future

This publication, which has been produced annually since 1992, has two main sections, “Key indicators” and “Special features”. In key indicators trends for various aspects of agriculture and food, energy, atmosphere, economy, transportation, communications, health, and the military are given a one page of discussion and a page of statistics and graphs. In special features, under a similar set of subsections, various topics get two pages of discussion that usually includes a graph or a table.
