The Women in Sports site states that it is “dedicated to providing role models of women athletes”. However, it only contains links to other Web sites: no original content is provided, and there are no descriptions or annotations for the sites. In addition, the site is not comprehensive. For example, there are links to two universities’ gymnastics sites under the gymnastics category, but there is no link to USA Gymnastics online (www.usa‐gymnastics.org), which is the governing body for the sport in the USA.
