Earth Sciences Encyclopedia Online contains approximately 7,000 signed entries authored by scholars in the fields of geology, climatology, earth science, etc., and is largely based on Kluwer’s 21 volume Encyclopedia of Earth Sciences book series. Some of the more widely held titles in this series include: Encyclopedia of Geomorphology (1968), Encyclopedia of Sedimentology (1978), Encyclopedia of Paleontology (1979), and Encyclopedia of Beaches and Coastal Environments (1982).
