The Cambridge History of the Book in Britain. Volume IV: 1557‐1695

Amidst so much else besides, there is matter of particular interest to readers of Reference Reviews in this latest volume of Cambridge University Press’s august series. That particular interest begins with the frontispiece, showing the opening page of William Somner’s Dictionarium Saxonico‐Latino‐Anglicum of 1659.
