After a gap 14 years, Gale has resuscitated Geo‐Data. The title was first published in 1982, with a second edition in 1989. Both editions were largely the work of George Kurian, a well‐known producer of reference texts on a range of geographical and related topics. For this new edition project editor John F. McCoy and his team of 17 contributors have done more than breathe new life into a tired old text undertaking “a complete revision and updating”.
