Guide to Libraries in Key UK Companies

Since my subjective perception is that numerous UK industrial library and information services have been closed or “streamlined” over the last 20 years or so, it actually comes as something of a relief to discover that out of 900 firms contacted for this new directory, 180 have actually ended up with entries in it. Probably about 150 more than I might have expected, but perhaps I have grown cynical, or perhaps Scotland has received a disproportionate share of closures of formerly active industrial libraries.
