In The Netherlands dictionaries bearing the imprint of the Van Dale publishing house are widely acknowledged as the authoritative voice of the Dutch language. This new dictionary from Routledge is, in fact, a reissue of the Ster Woordenboek Engels‐Nederlands/Nederlands‐Engels, third edition, originally published in The Netherlands by Van Dale in 2001. Despite its compact format, this new volume in no way falls short of the high standards we have come to expect of this specialist publisher.
