The Women in Politics bibliographic database was developed by the Inter‐Parliamentary Union (IPU) with the contribution of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). It contains bibliographic references to books, articles, and documents dealing with women's participation in political life. It is the online version of Women in Politics – World Bibliography, a bilingual (English/French) publication issued in print format until 1999.
The database indexes material from 1948 to the present. Users can select a single search field or a combination. Except for the author field, selections are made from a drop‐down list. The fields are: type of document (e.g....
