Although now in its 25h edition, Africa Review does not appear to have been reviewed in these columns until now. It is one of a regular series, others covering Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and Asia and the Pacific. There are articles by 20 contributors (mostly business consultants and journalists) on 53 countries, which include several islands that might not normally be thought of as African, and even the French Southern and Antarctic Territories (with a transient population of 100).
