World Guide to Scientific Associations and Learned Societies (9th edition)

So, now we know: unlike the American Library Association, the Indian and just about every other country's library association the UK Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP, née the Library Association) does not count as a scientific or learned society.
