Amongst the three or four hundred tatty and mouldy books I have inherited from my grandfather, lay the beginnings of my aunt's science fiction collection. The paperbacks, with their gaudy covers, and quaint looking old style magazines were bought on both sides of the Atlantic around the late 1960s/early 1970s.
