Guide to Libraries in London (2nd edition) Available to Purchase

I thought I would be clever and search the What's in London's Libraries, Web site www.londonlibraries.org.uk/ will then announce that this book was redundant. Not so. At the moment it is the other way round: the Web site may not be redundant and should eventually develop into a useful tool, but for the present this directory is far the better resource. It is comprehensive, accurate, detailed and consistent in the contents of its entries, and at least adequately indexed. The Web site, so far, is much more limited, particularly since it seems to limit itself to those libraries...
