Scopus is the latest abstracting and indexing offering from Elsevier. This new product is similar to its predecessors, but has been significantly re‐engineered through the input of many librarians and others to allow for use that is more intuitive. For those who are familiar with Elsevier's products, the quality and layout will be no surprise. For those who are not, this new database will be a breath of fresh air. Scopus holdings number 14,000+ peer‐reviewed titles from 4,000 publishers, making this database an even more attractive acquisition for academic libraries.
