My colleagues in Cheshire's Bibliographic Services Unit let out a collective whoop of joy when they heard that another edition of Adult Sequels was expected – as they might well; Mandy Hicken's listing of popular series in adult fiction is an invaluable tool both for librarians and readers, as the well‐thumbed copies in our public libraries testify.
