Elizabeth Gaskell: An Annotated Guide to English Language Sources, 1992‐2001

This volume supplements the same author's Elizabeth Gaskell: An Annotated Bibliography of English‐Language Sources, 1976‐1991 (Weyant, 1994) and is the only bibliography on Victorian novelist Elizabeth Gaskell (1810‐1865) currently in print covering the decade following 1991. As it is unique, it is fortunate that this work is as good as it is. Weyant, a librarian at Bloomburg University in Pennsylvania, continues to focus her efforts on an audience of upper‐division undergraduates and beginning graduate students, but the scope of coverage and quality of annotations will benefit advanced scholars as well.
