The Avalon Project at Yale Law School: Documents in Law, History and Diplomacy

The Avalon Project is one of the older digital text projects on the internet. At its inception in 1996, its focus on providing digital copies of significant primary documents and texts in the areas of law, diplomacy, economics, government and history was uncommon. Documents in the collection range in date from 122BCE to the present day, with the bulk of the material stemming from the eighteenth to twentieth centuries.
