Bibliography of Native American Bibliographies

Specialist bibliographies of bibliographies in print form are an endangered reference species. Once the habitat of the earnest scholar or dedicated librarian, such works look increasingly threatened as publishers, daunted by limited sale opportunities, concentrate on print reference titles with appeal to the widest audience. Praeger, a Greenwood Group imprint, is therefore to be congratulated on this title. The first bibliography of bibliographies in a series that has hitherto concentrated on straightforward bibliographical listings it is a title that, while of relatively narrow interest, will be of immense value to those embarking on serious research in this field.
