Dictionary of Saints

Collins' Dictionary of Saints is a “compilation of the lives and achievements of saints from across the millennia and the world”. Subtitled “the definitive guide to saints through the ages”, this covers much the same ground as the Oxford Dictionary of Saints (Farmer, 2003) (RR 2005/288). Like the Oxford Dictionary, the emphasis is placed on the “more important and interesting saints”, with special attention paid to the saints of Britain and Ireland.
