Merrycoz.org: Works for Children & Adults 1800‐1872

Pat Pflieger, a specialist in American Studies and children's literature, has dedicated two decades to collecting, preserving, and sharing nineteenth century children's literature in America. She has turned this passion into Merrycoz.org, a web site full of text, images and primary sources encompassing the years 1800‐1872. Merrycoz provides a wonderful cross‐section of the literature of the time, including not only the texts themselves, but also images, recipes, bookmarks, and other evidence documenting the lives of nineteenth century children.
