In 1972 a project was completed that microfilmed and indexed the prestigious collections of the Goldsmiths Library of Economic Literature, University of London Library and the Kress Library of Business and Economics at the Harvard Business School of Business Administration. This project covered primary economic literature from 1450 to 1850 and produced over 4,000 reels of microfilm and five volumes of print indexes. The emphasis of the collection is a documentation of Western economic history, philosophy and activity.
