The Essentials of the Environment

A smooth, slick little book that will appeal to a target audience that I take to be schools and colleges. And one that, having picked it up to review it, got me sidetracked into dipping into it and forgetting what I was meant to be doing.

Beautifully designed in double columns, the type is perhaps a bit small for my taste, but it is illustrated throughout with photographs, figures and stand‐alone boxes.
