Harrod's Librarians' Glossary and Reference Book (10th edition)

Few library and information science reference tools have as long a history as Harrod's Librarians' Glossary. As the Preface to this new edition notes, Leonard Montague Harrord first produced a 176 page Glossary in 1938, following it 21 years later with a second edition almost double the size. Subsequent publication followed more frequently, Gower taking over the title in 1981 and a fifth edition appearing in 1984, the year of Harrod's death.
