International Dictionary of Psychoanalysis

Psychoanalysis forms the basis for a massive publishing industry. From the original 16 tranches of the Handworterbuch der Psychoanalyse (Sterba, 1936‐1937) onwards, dictionaries and encyclopedias of all kinds have flowed off the presses, in a wide variety of languages. Some are devoted to individual practitioners. I have reviewed encyclopedias relating to Freud (Erwin, 2002) (RR 2002/230) and dictionaries relating to Melanie Klein (Hinshelwood, 1991) for Reference Reviews, and can easily lay my hands on similar works relating to Jung, Adler, etc. One should not omit to mention the final volume of the Complete...
