Ornithological Worldwide Literature (OWL)

Small journals and “grey” literature are important to researchers and general readers in many disciplines. Here again the WWW serves as a vehicle for providing access to materials not often indexed by large database vendors. The editors and hosts are providing a great service to the ornithological community with this site.

OWL is a joint effort between the American Ornithologists' Union, the British Ornithologists' Union and Birds Australia.
