Publisher's Bindings Online (PBO) is the result of a partnership between the University of Alabama University Libraries and the University of Wisconsin‐Madison Libraries. In 2003 these universities received an Institute of Museum and Library Services leadership grant that they have used to create a digital collection of decorative bookbindings from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This digital repository currently contains approximately 2,000 records of bindings from the two libraries' physical collections.
