Modern American Communes: A Dictionary

This dictionary lists twentieth century communes of the USA. Also provided is an appendix listing locations and dates of organizations, a short list of web sites, a list of selected readings, an index; and a guide to related entries, which is a rough subject grouping. Entries are short, between one‐half and one page long, and includes the bibliographic information directly following the entry, much of it from the same sources.
