The Distributed Digital Library of Mathematical Monographs comprises the full‐text monograph collections of three institutions: Cornell University Library, The University of Michigan Library, and the State and University Library Göttingen in Germany. These three collections form a virtual collection that includes more than 2,000 volumes of significant historical mathematical material. The virtual collection resides at each of the separate institutions and access is provided to the three entirely different software systems through a distributed full text search protocol.
