The A‐Z of Science Fiction Literature

This book is to a large degree a condensed version of Stableford's well received and reviewed text Historical Dictionary of Science Fiction Literature published in 2004 (RR 2005/36). The main text of this smaller work is biographical, covering worldwide science fiction literary authors and their major works. A more secondary coverage is given to major themes encountered in their respective publications. Each individual entry is around a paragraph long with cross‐referenced items presented in bold. The style is scholarly, largely offering dispassionate coverage of the topics covered, sticking to the agreed facts rather than offering opinions.
