“Classical scholarship tends to be agglutinative”. That is most certainly the case and accounts for the number of nineteenth and early twentieth century titles which remain, quite correctly, in these pages. It also interestingly contrasts with the seemingly oft‐repeated comment in chapter six, General Internet Resources, on the number of dead links found within the sites indicated. There are some excellent web sites, identified here by Fred W. Jenkins, but classical studies remains firmly book‐based; there must also be room for comment on the implications of the number of early books cited and discussed in this work against the number...
